Topic: The Good Treatment Campaign
This month our Forum focused on the Good Treatment Campaign! We heard from Gill and Kendal about the plans for a global, coordinated social media campaign, and then had some time to reflect on what we are planning in our own community campaigns this year. Thank you to everyone who came along and shared so willingly.

Good Treatment Campaign
We will be starting our global online campaign next week on 21 September! We are very grateful to everyone who has agreed to represent their network by posting content on relevant social media channels. Let’s also keep praying for each other as we continue to run our community campaigns. Don’t forget you can find the online pledge and a way to report hard copy pledges on our website below.

Landslides in Nepal
The CarNetNepal team of churches and volunteers have been serving children and families impacted by the recent devastating mudslides. They have navigated long and badly damaged roads to deliver relief packs and are also supporting counsellors to attend to children’s psychosocial and emotional needs, a vital step in recovery after the trauma of so much fear and loss. Let us, as the Viva Network, stand with them in prayer, especially as they plan the next steps in their response. Financial contributions can be made below.

Cutting Edge
There will be three Cutting Edge webinars in September, October and November 2026, with the first one on Wednesday 30 September. These sessions will be an opportunity for us to explore together how churches and faith-based organisations can respond to some of the most acute challenges that are preventing children from being safe. Mwanza Children Action Network: Network Growth in Tanzania
Mwanza Children Action Network, or MCAN, has grown from a small network to 78 members, reaching over 30,000 children across Mwanza through collective action programmes, including the Good Treatment Campaign, World Weekend of Prayer and the Quality Improvement System. “I came to understand Viva’s vision for the Network, and this has helped to reach more children.” - Iman Zadock, MCAN Coordinator.
