Bringing together child actors, churches and organisations to work together for the best interest of the children in Kisumu County.

Since 2023, Together for Children Network has been dedicated to bringing together Christian child workers from Kisumu County to work in the best interest of the child and helping them to understand God’s heart for the child. Our objectives are:

  • To mobilise and bring together Christian organisations to work together for the best interest of the children in Kisumu County.

  • To improve the quality of service offered to children by the churches, organisations and institutions working with the children through training and sharing of useful information.

  • To increase action among member organisations and influence policymakers for the sake of children at risk.

  • To equip children in peer-to-peer engagements.

The network is committed to following Viva’s model of Connecting, Capacity Building, Collective Action and Citywide Influence.

‘A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.’ Children form that weaker part of the chain and the opportunity that we have in partnering with Viva as a children’s network has given us the joy of supporting the link and be able to empower the child to grow in the best way possible - God’s way.
