Global Network Online Forum - December 2025
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Global Network Online Forum on Wednesday 10 December 2025. As we approach Christmas, it was fun to hear about your Christmas traditions and the plans that you are making to celebrate Jesus’ birth with the children in and outside of your Networks.
Know Your Network Dashboard: Supporting reflection and planning
We spent some time at the beginning of the Forum introducing the new Know Your Network dashboard. The dashboard brings together key data in a clear, visual format, designed to help networks reflect on where you are now and plan intentionally for the year ahead.
The dashboard includes:
Eight core monitoring areas
Programme tracking information
Written summaries to support interpretation and learning
We looked at how the dashboard works and how you can use it as a practical tool — not just for reporting, but for strengthening decision-making, identifying gaps, and celebrating progress.

Learning from network experience
We were grateful to Pastor Teddy from SCAR and SCAR’s coach Tryphosa for sharing their experience of using the dashboard. They reflected on how it has already helped their network to clearly see both strengths and areas needing attention — particularly around capacity building and collective action. They shared how these insights will shape their priorities and planning in the coming year.
Remember, the Know Your Network tool exists to serve networks, not simply to collect information, so we would encourage you to continue engaging with the process by completing:

We also shared a number of important updates and notices during the session.
Global Network Online Forums in 2026
Based on a review of our online forums and feedback from you, next year we would like to move away from focusing on a different topic every month, and instead spend three sessions (one quarter) going into greater depth on a single theme.
The topics for 2026 will be:
Online safety (February to April)
Advocacy
Local fundraising
In January, the Forum will go ahead, but this may be a shorter meeting and will be focused on hearing exactly what topics within the online safety theme you would like to learn more about.
Good Treatment Campaign feedback
All networks that ran a Good Treatment Campaign this year are kindly asked to complete the feedback form. Your reflections are vital in helping us learn together and shape future campaigns.
Viva’s 30th birthday
Kezia shared an exciting early notice about Viva’s 30th birthday celebrations in 2026🎉. More information will be shared in the coming months about how you can be involved in marking this milestone together.

Thank you so much for everything that each of you has brought to Viva and to these Global Forums in 2025. We have learnt so much from you, and hope that you feel you have learnt a lot from each other too.
