Topic: Local fundraising (part 2 of 3)
In our Forum this month, we heard from Isaac, Isabel and Ines, who shared with us about the regional fundraising strategy that some of the Latin American networks have been developing. It was great to see what a practical example of collaborative fundraising could look like, and to start to think about how this could apply in other regions too. Cutting Edge
Thank you to everyone who participated in Cutting Edge. It was a wonderful time to learn more about how collaboration works in practice. There are plenty of follow-up activities being planned, including training cohorts. For now, please do watch the videos below.

Serve the City, Freetown
This is a photograph of the lovely city of Freetown, where Serve the City, a network of 34 child-focused churches and organisations, is based. We are delighted to announce that it has just become the 7th African member network to join Viva.

Disaster response in Venezuela
We continue to pray with RENACSENIV as it mobilises volunteers from churches and organisations to respond to the recent earthquakes, bringing much-needed relief, such as food and blankets, to children and families who have lost so much. It is also encouraging to see several Latin American networks also fundraising in solidarity. A giving option is below, if you would like to share this with your own networks.

World Weekend of Prayer
We have very much enjoyed receiving feedback from this year’s World Weekend of Prayer, and hearing and seeing how people prayed for children around the world.
