Thanks to those of you who joined us at our August forum, which was the third and final part in our series on Local Fundraising. We were able to continue our conversations, started in the previous two forums, about current strengths and gaps in your fundraising work, and about how we might work together with others in our region to develop a collaborative approach to fundraising. These are conversations which we hope will continue between you, your coach and others in your region in the weeks and months ahead. Red Viva Bolivia
The photograph above is of children at an Oruro After School Club in Bolivia using materials from the Viva safeguarding toolkit. Read more about how Red Viva Bolivia were able to see sustained impact even when a large funded project ended, as they continued to mobilise local churches to serve children in the community.

Good Treatment Campaign
We were delighted to have so many people attend a planning meeting for the Good Treatment Campaign this week - a big thank you to everyone who came and who has volunteered to join working groups to look at how to create videos and make our digital social media campaign bigger and better this year. More information coming soon!

Fundraising Training
Viva Network Perú is running some training on fundraising and raising up ambassadors/promoters. We are very thankful that they have opened this up to everyone in the Viva family who would like to attend, and we were delighted that, alongside LAC network leaders, representatives from networks in Myanmar, a regional network in the Philippines, and Sierra Leone were present in the first session held on Thursday, 20 August! If you want to join the next one on Thursday, 27 August, speak to your coach.
