Gillian, originally from Ireland, has lived in Uganda since 2001. She has had the privilege of leading two faith-based non-profit development organisations serving vulnerable children in Uganda. With writing and editing among her strengths, Gill joined Viva in a communications role in April 2023.

Gill’s position involves developing content and communicating with supporters through newsletters, fundraising appeals, a prayer diary, and other means to ensure high-quality donor engagement. Her communication responsibilities also include writing and editing internal and external documentation such as funding proposals, donor and annual reports. She also enjoys participating in the development of programme materials and training resources.
