From a young age, Elin has been involved in ministry work with children, teenagers and young adults, including single mothers, children without parental care, and young people with addictions, supporting their personal development and spiritual growth. She is a youth pastor and national youth coordinator in the Church of the Nazarene and also serves as the coordinator of international projects and finances at the Cuban Bible Society.

Elin first volunteered in Viva’s partner network in Cuba and then joined Viva in 2021. Elin coordinates Viva’s global programmes the Good Treatment Campaign, World Weekend of Prayer, and Christmas parties, as well as creating and sharing resources with partner networks. She also provides coaching support to networks in Latin America and the Caribbean.
