Viva was founded by students over 30 years ago, and students continue to play a vital role in helping children and communities flourish around the world.
Whether you're passionate about justice, research, communications, theology, international development, fundraising, prayer or community action, there are opportunities to learn, contribute and grow alongside Viva's global network.

Fundraising for Viva
Your fundraising efforts
could make it possible for Viva to support a new child-focused network in a city in Latin America, Africa or Asia, enabling more churches to work together to transform the lives of more children.
The best fundraising idea is often one built around what your group already enjoys:
Take a challenge – get sponsored to run, walk, cycle or swim.
Host something – sell tickets or invite donations during a quiz, gig or clothes swap.
Use your skills – raise money by making and selling art, photography, music or tutoring.
Think about how you could bring your university campus and/or church with you!

Your regular support would enable Viva to better support networks of churches so they can do more together and do it better.
People giving every month what they can - big or small - means we can plan strategically and with confidence. We are encouraging people to give £30 per month in support of our 30th birthday this year - but any amount is welcome. Could you join us?
Just Love Partnership
We are really pleased to share that we have entered into a new partnership with Just Love, a Christian student movement in the UK, which is ‘a network of thousands pursuing justice in the way of Jesus - holistically, fruitfully, sustainably.’ For the past couple of years, Viva has run a training session at a Just Love conference for student committee leaders - exploring what it looks like to do justice well in practice.
