Monthly round-up:

Most Recent Global Online Forum
Wednesday 14 October
Topic: Viva Applied Research
Thanks to everyone who joined our latest Global Network Online Forum, where Dr Kathryn (Kati) Kraft joined us to introduce and invite networks to participate in a new and exciting research project. The “Listening to children” research pilot will work collaboratively with a small group of three to four networks to explore questions around children’s experience of faith and life, and their views on child participation.
This small group of networks will work together to shape the research question and then listen to children in their own contexts. In the process, they will build skills in listening to children that they can keep using after the project ends. The learning will be shared across the wider Viva Network, so every network can benefit.
The recording of the forum can be found below. The passcode is Gh@NK@0@
Interested in taking part? Read the brief below to find out more, then talk to your coach to express your interest by Wednesday, 28 October.

Good Treatment Campaign
We are now in Week 5 of the Good Treatment Campaign, and a big thank you to everyone who has been participating and posting. As you may remember, we have a plan to use an online map to show where in the world pledges have been signed. Please do encourage people to use the online pledge form - and use the online form that logs the number of hard-copy pledges that were signed in communities. Both are available on the website below.

Asia Gathering
"The Asia Network Gathering was such a meaningful and inspiring experience for me. What I loved the most was the opportunity to connect with amazing people from different countries, share our stories, learn from one another, and feel united by our shared hopes and dreams. I’m truly grateful for the beautiful memories, friendships, and inspiration that I’m taking home." - Emerald, Myanmar. We are very grateful for your prayers - and lovely messages of support! - as the Asian networks gathered in Hong Kong recently. We thank God for all the very positive interactions, and that a fundraising Donor Dinner also went very well.

Our first Cutting Edge webinar was fantastic! It featured our own Christina Rai from CarNetNepal, who did a wonderful job presenting on child marriage alongside other excellent speakers.
