Viva’s Cutting Edge conference ran over three days in July 2025 and was packed with useful material to encourage and challenge child practitioners and advocates everywhere. Highlighting the work of Viva’s partner networks and giving space to leading experts in various fields to share their knowledge, the conference created a space for mutual learning and engagement. This inspiring and eloquent opening address by Menchit Wong set the scene.

Learning Spaces being run by Viva’s partner CarNetNepal are having an incredible impact on children - with much credit going to their dedicated mentors, trained and supported by the network.

The Quality Improvement System is a capacity-building tool used by Viva partner networks to walk alongside churches and organisations on their journey toward improvement.

It was a privilege for Viva to host a review meeting about CAFIs (holistic learning centres) that have been run in nine Viva supported network in Latin America with some amazing results.

Viva’s partner the Children’s Development Network Myanmar oversees Learning Spaces in four key locations, serving 200 children. Win is a boy who attends - and it has been transformational for him.
